"Cultural Etiquette"

Some of the cultural etiquette and behavioral acceptance of women in Mexico can be very questionable, especially from the men’s side of it all is very sexist but to almost everybody their sexism is normal. When women want to start doing business in Mexico there is bound to be some difficulty. Most women that go to men in the business industry most likely haven’t worked with women in positions of authority. Mexican men, business colleagues included, will pay businesswoman many compliments and sometimes be very flirtatious. The women are supposed to graciously accept such banter, it is usually done with utmost respect. Businesswoman should not invite Mexican businessmen to dinner unless their spouses come along. Typically, Mexican households in the United States consist of five or more people. The traditional patriarchal structure grants the father or oldest male relative the greatest power, whereas women are expected to show submission. In my opinion I think it should be either mother or oldest female as well as men, should get highest power depending on what they believe. What do you think?
