Day of the Dead in Mexico

Day of the dead/Día de los Muertos is a traditional mexican holiday. Know all over the world when people celebrate the dead. Now I know what you’re thinking, why are they celebrating the dead, shouldn't they be sad? Well they believe the dead's souls can come back to our world to visit and they do so on the day of the dead. They believe that souls can go back and forth from this world and the next so on the day of the dead they believe that the souls of the people who have died come back to visit them. One of the most important traditions for the day of the dead is setting up an altar in memory of them where they bring out symboles of all four of the elements. They also bring marigold to honor the dead. The day of the dead takes place on two days, november 1st and november 2nd. They start celebrating on november 1st but the actual day of the dead is on november 2nd. In most parts of mexico november 1st is for the children and infants and the 2nd is for adults so they normally call november 1st day of the little angels and then november 2nd day of the dead.
